Most wanted Star Wars: A New Hope Black Series figures

Continuing my series of what figures I want most from each Star Wars film, I'll be jumping to the fourth film in the franchise, A New Hope, to take a look at what figure I'm waiting to be made in the Black Series line. There are plenty of alien characters that would be awesome in this line, but I have another post ready to tackle those so for the most part I'll be sticking to the non-Cantina characters as best I can. So here are my most wanted Black Series figure from the fourth Star Wars film.

5. Cantina band aliens
I couldn't rest without putting these characters on the list. They're an iconic part of the original film and if they were on the poster of the film they wouldn't feel out of place. They're a group of cool looking aliens that would be absolutely perfect for the deluxe portion of the Black Series line! While they could be done as a multipack, making one figure who comes with all of the instruments would be a great way to get the character out to fans and sell multiple copies of the same figure.

4. Admiral Motti
We recently got a slew of Imperial characters such as Piett and Veers, and while this guy is a fair bit more obscure than the others I still think he could fit in the line. This was the guy that Vader began to choke out before Tarkin put him in his place, which is a scene many fans remember well. Include a newly sculpted arm so that this character can reach up to his neck and we have a clear winner for another use of the Tarkin body mold.

3. Garindan spy
This is a character that I included on my original list of most wanted Black Series figures, and he is resurfacing here after not being made yet. This is an alien design that I think is very cool with its bug like head, and unlike a lot of aliens, this guy actually played a role in the movie by informing the imperials to the droids presence.

2. Wedge
This is a character who could go one way or another in terms of costume design. Hasbro could easily take the X-wing pilot Luke, slap a new head on it, and give us this fantastic character who was present for all three of the original films. Or Hasbro could tool a new Snowspeeder uniform that could then be used to give us a snowspeeder Luke as well. Either way, we as fans win and Hasbro gets an easy sculpt to reuse.

1. Ceremony Luke
Long ago we got the X-wing pilot rendition of Luke, and quite a bit later we got farm boy Luke. We're still waiting on the final outfit of Luke's from that movie though, being the yellow jacket that he wore at the end when they were being given their medals. It was a very standout look for the character with a lot of color, and it is an outfit that the comics have made use of a lot to give more context for collectors to use the outfit in displays. It's time to finish the A New Hope Luke line up with this figure.
