Top 5 most wanted Godzilla: King of the Monsters NECA figures
Godzilla: King of the Monsters came out recently in theaters as the long awaited follow up to the 2014 film that reintroduced the big lizard the American audiences. While I personally thought that the second film was a bit messy, the monsters were undoubtedly cool and it's awesome that NECA has already granted us several figures for the movie. Despite this, the cast of monsters is much larger than the 2014 movie, so the toy company has barely scratched the surface of what figures could be made for the movie. We're so far getting a standard Godzilla, atomic breath Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra. In this list I'll be looking into Godzilla monsters that appeared in the film that I want to get figures of next! Spoilers for the new movie!

5. Mutos
This encompasses both the first and second films. I was surprised to see another MUTO pop up in this film, though it does far less than its two predecessors from the first film. I'm hoping that one day we can get figures for these monsters in the line, as I thought they had really cool designs and were great monsters for Godzilla to go up against in the first film. I believe NECA has said before that they have no plans to make these creatures, but maybe plans can change?

4. Behemoth
Out of all the random new monsters to appear in the film, I thought this one was the coolest. The design for it was very interesting and creative, much more so than a giant spider, a recycled MUTO, and a creature whose real design was obscured beneath the mountain on its back. It was like a giant gorilla but with a mammoth head; minus the tusks. I'd definitely be interested in seeing it again in a sequel, and hopefully NECA can go deep enough to make this creature too.

3. Blue Mothra
This would be an easy figure to do as it moves into repaint territory. For the first couple times that Mothra appeared in the film she had a blue coloring to her that I think was due to her bioluminescence. I just know that it looked very cool, very beautiful, and while I love the red version of her from the final act of the movie and the new figure, I also want a blue version for those initial scenes of her.

2. Burning Godzilla
This was an absolute delight that I wasn't expecting when it first appeared onscreen. I thought that America's verison of Burning Godzilla was absolutely awesome though, as he melted everything he came near and gave off blasts of incinerating heat as shockwaves! It was a truly powerful form of Godzilla that felt intense, and definitely deserves a figure. Just like Blue Mothra, this would be more of a repaint rather than a new figure, so hopefully NECA is taking advantage of that fact to get it out quicker.

1. King Ghidorah
What other monster in the film could take this spot? NECA has said on dozens of occasions that they have no plans to make this character. They say that he is too large, that his price point would be tremendous, but hopefully one day he becomes more of a possibility. The film leaves it open for this monster to reappear, so NECA will have more windows of opportunities as well. Ghidorah was an awesome presence in the movie and a fiercely powerful monster than dominated each scene it rampaged through. It would make for an absolutely stellar figure in this line, and through some outlet in the future I'm hoping that NECA makes this character a reality in their line.
