Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse army builder figures
The recent wave of focus given to army builders from Marvel Legends line of figures has got me thinking about the potential army builders that exist within the DC universe and how awesome it would be to build large groups from the world of the Justice! We've technically gotten one already with the Crow Robin figure, but I know there's still plenty more out there and in this list I've thought up my top 5 DC universe army builder characters that I'd for sure buy more than one of if Mcfarlane were to produce them!

Starting off with an honorable mention, the Dominators and the Invasion! storyline were one of the first big comic crossover events on a large scale, and that alone solidified the Dominators has an iconic DC alien design that we've seen again and again throughout DC's history. Mcfarlane himself as a history with the Invasion! storyline, having worked on the original comic himself, so it'd be a great call back to his past comic book work for him to make a figure for these aliens!
As soon as we get a Ras al Ghul or Talia al Ghul, we will need a whole fleet of League of Assassin assassins to flank them and gang up on Batman. It is one of the most well known villain groups from the Batman mythos who have never really gotten proper figures before, though that can be rectified now.
Another iconic group from the Batman mythos is the Talons of the Court of Owls, undead warriors who have given the Dark Knight loads of trouble in the past. They're fast, powerful, and would make a great figure design to be produced in the masses. Mcfarlane has shown a proclivity for the Batman side of DC comics, so hopefully that means the Talons have a higher chance of getting great figure representation.
We've gotten plenty of Brainiac figures over the years; however, we haven't before really enjoyed an outstanding figure for the drones he sends in his wake. One of the immediately seen parts of Brainiac's stories are the drones he sends down prior to his full invasion and abductions, creepy robots tough enough to take on Superman in some cases. As Mcfarlane has already started to delve into Injustice 2, that is a drone design I would really love as an action figure.
One of my all time small time villains from the comics is Multiplex, the villain who can self duplicate sometimes endless clones of himself. I loved his turn in the Suicide Squad, and his recent presence in the Endless Winter storyline was a lot of fun, though it all started for me when I was introduced to him through the Flash CW tv show. His black uniform with blue lines running throughout is a simple design that really stands out as a crowd, and a Multiplex army is something I would certainly build without a doubt if Mcfarlane gives me the chance!
Probably the most iconic and well known army builder troops from the DC universe would have to be the Parademons of Apokalips! These winged, horrifying warriors of Darkseid have appeared again and again throughout comic history, providing fodder for the heroes to battle as a necessary part of any Darkseid invasion. Whether they do the comic Parademons, or pull from the Snyder cut DCEU version coming out this year, I'm very excited for these mutated soldiers to hopefully be made into the line soon!
