Top 5 most wanted Transformers figures in the Wreckers and Velocitron sublines

I've really been enjoying Hasbro's recent trend of releasing "capsules" of themed characters for the Transformers line! It's been very fun to see what characters get added to the line outside of the mainline through these programs, bringing us more and more of the Transformers universe every year! The Wreckers and most recent Velocitron capsules have been delights and two that the Transformers team have stated already that they want to keep going with in the future! With that in mind there's lots of characters who could fit into these lines that I hope to see down the line maybe for waves 2 of these capsules or in the mainline itself!

Honorable mentions: Signal Lancer, Circuit and Axer, Diaclone Topspin

Signal Lancer would be an extremely fun character to add to the line because we've never before gotten a Transformers action figure who can transform into a traffic light! It would also fit with how passionately the team went into the lore behind the Speedia 500 collection, touting Hauler as a crash clean up. We need the lights to signal the start of the race! We got a lot of characters and designs from the most recent "Wreckers: Tread and Circuits" comic that dealt with the Speedia 500 race on Velocitron, and while Circuit and Axer weren't characters who partook in the race itself their role around the race would make them great characters to see brought to the action figure line! Finally, Diaclone Topspin has become a gaping hole in the collection ever since Diaclone Twintwist was revealed, so hopefully that look for the duo can be filled out soon!

5. Aileron
Granted tenure with the Wreckers in the most recent comic series, Aileron in the 2019 IDW series has the reputation as the only flying Wrecker and that's used to great extent through the short series as she soars where her comrades can't. The idea of flying cars is something I want to see explored further in the toyline aside from just Tracks and Road Rage, with Aileron being a comic relevant choice.

4. Lickety-Split

This bot's design is one that I've always really liked ever since its debut in the Animated series. The "hair" and the roller blades that this character utilizes as feet are very unique compared to a lot of other designs in the franchise, and seeing her get more than a few moments up front in the "Tread and Circuits" race was awesome, such as providing Thunderclash a base with her alternate mode to step off from when he would have hit the ground!

3. Sideways and Road Pig
This could go one of two ways, either Sideways could get an Armada based Sideways figure which I would LOVE and which would be accurate to the glimpses we see in the "Tread and Circuits" comic, or we could get the motorcycle mold that could be used for both Sideways and Road Pig, as Sideways in the past has utilized that mold as well. With Road Rocket introduced in the first wave of the Velocitron capsule, getting his fellow Laser cycle Road Pig would be another great G2 update, especially as Road Pig has the distinction of being Mayhem's first casualty during the Velocitron race.

2. Thunderclash
Leader of the Wreckers in the "Tread and Circuits" comic which so many recent figures seem to be based from (Road Rocket, Clampdown, Burn out, Knockout, ect.), Thunderclash hasn't enjoyed a wide release figure in quite a while. With Minerva coming down the line and others from the 2019 Wreckers team like Hot Shot and Ricochet already recently released in the past few years it'd be nice to have Thunderclash to go along with them for this "Point Break" esque iteration of the famous team!

1. Whirl and Rack'n'Ruin

These two were only granted cameos at the conclusion of the "Tread and Circuits" series but their history with the Wreckers is vast and they are two that I really hope see more modern updates in the toylines sooner rather than later. Whirl has enjoyed a nice figure every so often, but Hasbro has been on a roll lately with providing excellent and Masterpiece level updates to characters that I hope Whirl gets soon. Rack'n'Ruin on the other hand has had little to no history of figure representation and for such a killer design that is a travesty! A bot with two bodies and two heads would stick out in the best ways amongst the display, and with Hasbro digging into Transformers history for characters like Jhiaxus and Hauler I hope for this twin bot to get his due one day soon.
