Most wanted McFarlane Harry Potter creature figures from each film
We haven't even seen McFarlane's Harry Potter figures yet but I am still very excited about the line and for the release of the figure's later this year! One of the biggest prospects I'm looking forward to is the sister line that focuses solely on the creatures of the wizarding world which has so many possibilities, and is already delivering two fantastic choices with Buckbeak and a Dementor. I've already made a post about the creatures that I've wanted to get most in general, but a fun list idea I had to tide myself over until the figures are revealed is to go over what creatures I want most from each film. So with that all out of the way, here are the creature figures I want most from each of the Harry Potter films!

Sorcerer's Stone: Bathroom Troll
It made number one on my list of most wanted creatures, so undoubtedly it'll make number one for the creatures from the first movie I want. I absolutely love the design of the creature, the scene in the movie, and nostalgia is kicking in when I think about how I had the old Lego set. I know that bigger creatures are being scaled down and out of scale with the regular figures, but I'm hoping that I can get a massive, bulky troll to stand alongside the rest of the figures!

Chamber of Secrets: Giant Spider
One of my favorite sequences in the second film is the scenes in the Forbidden forest when Ron and Harry visit Aragog. It is creepy, high energy, and includes an entire mob of giant spiders which is so so SO frightening to imagine in real life. A figure for one of the spiders would look great, and could also double as a 1:1 scale tarantula figure. With how realistic the sculpting work on McFarlane figures usually is, it'd be a figure to scare me thinking a real tarantula was in my room.

Prisoner of Azkaban: Werewolf
This would perfectly compliment a Lupin figure if they decided to make one, and on its own looks like a fantastic beast design. The gangly, pale proportions are haunting without even adding the snouted wolf head. The werewolf was also a part of one of the more tense scenes in the movie in which Harry and Hermione hid from it in the woods, which would be great to reenact with figures.

Goblet of Fire: Hungarian Horntail
Their creatures line is best compared to the creatures line for McFarlane's Game of Thrones line, and the dragons in that should be an indication that making a Horntail dragon figure would be perfect for McFarlane! It should be a no brainer for them, and if the dragons from Game of Thrones is anything to go off of, a figure for the spiked, vicious dragon from the 4th film would look stunning.

Order of the Phoenix: Thestral
I love the lore of these animals; it is so mystical and somber at the same time. I also love the design as well, how they are so skeletal and ethereal. They just seem very cool and like they would make for some amazing figures. While talking about the Buckbeak figure, McFarlane mentioned that they thought that taking any animal and putting wings on it makes for a great figure; well, Thestral's are essentially horses with wings so please tell me they're on McFarlane's mind!

Half Blood Prince: Fawkes
This is an odd entry. I can't truly remember any creature who stood out a ton in the 6th movie or got a lot of spotlight like others on this list, so I'm going with Fawkes the phoenix. It did appear in the film, and is a creature that I very much want in the line; however, I couldn't use it in the second film's slot since I also really want the giant spider. The fiery design of the phoenix is very cool, and would be a perfect companion to any Dumbledore figure that is released.

Deathly Hallows part 1: Dobby
There is no greater character in the franchise than Dobby. He is so sweet, heroic, and adorable. In the movies, he did not appear after the second film until the seventh which was a long time to wait, but we got to see him be the biggest hero of the film by saving all of the main characters. The next wave is supposed to be focused on the second film, and pairing Dobby with the kid version of Harry would work perfectly, so McFarlane better make it happen because we need a 6 inch scale Dobby in the world.

Deathly Hallows part 2: Ukrainian Ironbelly
The other very prominent dragon in the films, and goes along with McFarlane showing dragon figures a lot of love on the Game of Thrones side of things. While probably less likely than the Horntail, I still think a figure of this dragon would be awesome, especially with the added details of its chains and the wounds around its neck.

Fantastic Beasts: Niffler
McFarlane has gone on and said that they would produce figures from the Fantastic Beasts franchise as well, and what better creature than the one who stole the whole show? The Niffler essentially jumpstarted the whole movie by escaping in that bank and setting Newt on the course to meet Jacob, Tina, and the whole rest of the movie! It was a cute platypus-esque creature who would pair great as an accessory for the eventual Newt figure!

Crimes of Grindelwald: Zouwu
This creature just has an absolutely incredible design. It is like a giant cat, with a feathery tail, huge eyes, and a interesting maw. It looks very cool while on the move, and when it does its jumping/teleportation bit it just made the creature all the cooler. It also provided for a few fun gags in the film!
