Top 5 most wanted Justice Society of America members in CW's Stargirl

With the announcement of Jakeem Thunder coming to the live action Justice Society world of Stargirl on the CW, it is clear that the team behind the hit show intend to expand upon their current roster by bringing in more characters from the comics. I'm extremely excited about this because the JSA roster in the comics have so many characters I'd love to see in life action or reimagined in this JSA focused story, and I've already thought about who my top 5 most wanted are! So with Jakeem Thunder an obvious and great choice to join a Stargirl focused adventure, here are the next five JSA heroes I hope to see in the show at some point!

5. Classic members return
This is something that the creators have said is a major likelihood going into future seasons, that we will some, possibly, some of the original members of the JSA return in some capacity. We're already seeing something like that with Starman at the end of season 1, but other characters like Jay and Alan have been posed as potentially entering in a later season and I'm so excited to see these characters hopefully expanded upon in a returning role.

4. Liberty Belle
With Rick Tyler already on the show as a core season 1 character, that makes Jesse Chambers a character I'm even more excited to hopefully get at some point. She in the comics is his primary love interest and a hero all in her own right, being the daughter of Johnny Quick and the original Liberty Belle, who it'd be really cool to have referenced as other heroes who weren't necessarily a part of the JSA as we've seen it. With Rick seemingly finding closure with the death of his parents, I think he is due for some happiness and Jesse's introduction would be the perfect way to do so.

3. Obsidian
This character could easily fit in as the catalyst for Alan Scot's return to the show, seeing as Obsidian is his son, and they could easily go the route of using Obsidian first as a villain the team has to fight. That would make for an interesting dynamic if he were to join the team afterwards, and with his sister Jade seemingly be introduced next season (not confirmed at the moment, but hopefully soon!) that would make an easy opening for her sibling to one day enter the mix.

2. Cylone
Getting into the two that I want to see most of all, and who would probably fit the best with this younger, next generation feel the show has going on, I'll start with my runner up. Cyclone was introduced in the more recent "Justice Society of America" comic series as the granddaughter of Ma Hunkel and the ability to control wind, as well as talk the ears off of anyone around. She grew a particularly strong bond with Stargirl during her time on the team, and with Cyclone getting her big screen debut in the upcoming Black Adam, I hope to see her on the smaller screen side of things too.

1. Atom Smasher
One of my absolute favorite JSA members from the comics was Atom Smasher, the successor to the original Al Pratt Atom and a character who has had a tumultuous history regarding where he stood with the team.  The Flash adapted this character to live action during its season 2, albeit as a shallow villain and killer, but I'm hoping for a truly comic accurate and faithful take on the character. The Black Adam movie looks to be giving that to us, but I'd like to see it even more in Stargirl due to the relationship between these two characters. They spent years playing a "will they won't they" situation before ultimately not getting together, but I'm hoping the live action series can give these two star crossed heroes the relationship they deserved in the comics.
