Most wanted Star Wars the Black Series figures from each Mandalorian season 1 episode vol 2

The Mandalorian is trekking through its second season and reminding us why it is one of the best modern pieces of Star Wars media out there. The worlds, the characters, the designs are all so iconically Star Wars and we're treated to one great adventure after another! That doesn't mean that I've forgotten about season 1 of the show though, and neither has Hasbro as this seemingly new blitz of Mandalorian product is playing catch up with several characters from season 1 who have yet to get figures yet. Beskar armored Mandalorian came out not too long ago followed by the Incinerator trooper who is hitting stores now. Then just recently we got the amazing news of Moff Gideon, Kuiil, and Greef Karga all coming to the line early next year and while essentially we have all the primary characters of season 1 in plastic form theres still eight episodes rich with characters to be made. So I'm rewriting my list and veyr eagerly looking towards what Hasbro will bring us in the future as there will certainly be lots of Mandalorian products for the foreseeable future!

Episode 1: The Mythrol
A character who recently got a Pop! figure was the Mythrol bounty of which Mando captured as the opening scene of season 1. The first scene of the show ever really stunned lots of fans, myself included, with just how great the show looked and would turn out to be. The opening essentially revolved around this blue skinned, fish like alien who had lots of comedic worth for the short time we got with him. I'm hoping that while the show will probably never see him again, being part of the first scene in this great show will hopefully be enough to warrant this cool looking alien his spot in the Black Series.

Episode 2: Offworld Jawa elder
Out of all the episodes in the show this for sure is the one that is the most barren in terms to action figure sources. We're treated to the bare minimum of characters and designs, and with Mando, the offworld Jawa, and Kuiil all made in the line already it makes pickings very slim. The recent Razorcrest Haslab clued me in on another potential figure from this episode though and that is the Offworld Jawa Elder. Supposedly the leader of the bunch, I absolutely loved the Jawas of this episode and this would be very easy reuse for the line with the straps being the only main difference.

Episode 3: Super battle droids
When I saw these guys walking around in the flashbacks to Mando's childhood I was ecstatic. I love the designs of these bulky, powerful looking battle droids and to see them again in modern live action was great! I think their entrance to the line has been a long time coming, and their appearance in Mandalorian could only help their sales when they eventually come out. Whether they'd be labelled as Mandalorian based, or Attack of the Clones, or Clone Wars, I'd just be happy to get this variation of the battle droid in figure form.

Episode 4: Klatooinian warrior
This was Cara Dune's big episide introduction, and with her being made in the line I will have to go with the same choice I had for this episode in the previous version of this list. We saw a small village being ravaged by Klatooinian warriors, and it'd make for a really great Mandalorian army builder to get in the line! The Vintage Collection got one meaning that Hasbro has experience already with the design of these alien foes, so they just now have to translate that to 6 inch form.

Episode 5: Fennec Shand
Personally this was one of the weakest episodes of the season but still a lot of fun to be had. I go back and forth on what character I'd like to get most out of the events of the episode and this time I'm settling on a very short lived character who didn't get to do as much as I hoped she would. Fennec Shand was the bounty that the title character was hunting down, and she exhumed pure attitude and finesse. I only wish that we got to see more from her. The orange accents in her outfit also looked really cool.

Episode 6: Mayfeld and Zero
I've said many times now that I want this entire team of bounty hunters from episode 6 to be made in figure form, and with all the primary season 1 characters already made I hope the odds of getting these characters goes up, but for the time being I'm focusing on Mayfeld and Zero. By far they are my favorite of the bunch, with Mayfeld being such a charasmatic jerk and Zero being one of the coolest droids in Star Wars that I've seen in a long time.

Episode 7: The Client
Seen all the way back in season 1 of the show, I wanted to talk about another character there and since the Client appears in episode 7 as well I'm going with him in this slot. Werner Herzog gave such an amazing performance for a character who I'm not sure we even saw stand at any point; the voice gave such gravitas to the character and if I had to say a character who I think is missing most from the season 1 Black Series display so far it'd be this character. Plus, if they make him they can give him the Beskar container as an accessory which we sadly didn't get with the Mando and Child two pack.

Episode 8: Death Watch Mandalorian
It was such a cool moment seeing the Death Watch Mandalorians in live action, facing down the Super battle droids, and just like every Mandalorian from Star Wars they would make incredible figures. They're already getting figures from some higher end expensive companies, so I think Hasbro should give their shot with the design as well!
