Most wanted alternate versions of McFarlane DC Multiverse established characters vol 3

Mcfarlane absolutely blew me and a lot of other people away recently with a massive amount of reveals for their DC comics line of action figures. While a lot of the figures were Batman or Batman related, they all looked fantastic and we are getting several new characters in the line that we haven't gotten previously! I've made two lists already looking at the character's we've gotten in the line, and the alternate versions of them I'd like to see made next, and this time I'm producing a larger list with 10 characters rather than the usual 5. From my past lists we've gotten the Dark Knights from Batman, the New 52 version of Nightwing, and a regular comic book Joker, and then there are all the newer characters to talk about too! So here is my third volume of my most wanted alternate versions of characters already established in Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line!

Batman: The Drowned
I'm putting Batman at the bottom of this list because its obvious we're going to be getting a lot more of this character, and this version of the character is basically confirmed to be in the pipeline already. I think the Dark Knight figures all look absolutely fantastic so far, and with the Merciless, Red Death, and now even the Robin crows being made the only member left from this team is the gender bent Drowned.

Nightwing: original suit
For Nightwing this time, I'm hoping that Mcfarlane will one day give us his very comic booky suit with the blue and gold and flared collar line. It was his first suit under the name Nightwing, and the one he wore during important stories like Judas Contract! So it has its place in the character's history, and I'd love to see it adapted for a modern figure.

Azrael: Knightfall Batman armor
The Azrael we got in the White Knight wave of figures stands as one of the beefiest and impressive figures in the line so far, and I hope that eventually we get the Knightfall version of Azrael in the line as well! The blue and gold armored look is absolutely iconic for the character, and right up Mcfarlane's alley when it comes to designs they would likely nail.

Batman who Laughs: Lord Batman who Laughs
This character's looks in the comics isn't too varied, but Mcfarlane's team is obviously looking to make what they can with the reveal of this character wearing Sky Tyrant's wings based off of a variant cover art for a comic book. One design that exists now that they could go for and knock out of the park would be the Lord Batman who laughs design from the beginning of the new Death Metal arc! The silver accents and crown look awesome, and while the outfit was short lived so was the Sky Tyrant winged variation.

Joker: 2019 movie and New 52
This was a hard one for me to choose from because of all the great versions of Joker from DC history, but I've narrowed it down to two and I don't think I can narrow it down any more so there is two versions for this slot. The 2019 movie was an absolute marvel when it came out and offered a completely unique take on the character that was way different from all other versions that came before! I loved the look of the character in this version as well, and Mcfarlane has stated already that he has been asking DC to let him do this character. On the comic side, I was blown away with how dark and serious the New 52 Syder and Capullo Batman run took the Joker. He was truly scary and sadistic in this version, and had only two appearances which really amplified the impact of this character was he was on the pages.

Robin: Damien Wayne
As awesome as the Robin Crow figures do look, I am hoping for Mcfarlane to give us a regular, heroic Robin sometime in the future and the obvious one for them to do would be Damien Wayne. At the moment he is the one most recognized as the Robin character and would fit in perfect as we've already gotten Nightwing and Red Hood.

Red Hood: Arkham Knight
Speaking of Red Hood, we're finally getting him in the line and the figure looks as close to a perfect Red Hood figure as we could ask for! The alternate version of him that I'm going to be centering on is a bit different from another comic adaptation, as it is the Arkham Knight version of him from the game of the same name. I absolutely love the Arkham series of videogames and I'm happy that Mcfarlane is delving into them so much already, with four figures in total being unveiled/released for the game. Batman from Arkham Knight means that the game is already touched upon, so Arkham Knight himself would be an easy one to do and pose alongside this version of Batman.

Cyborg: comic book
The reveal of the Teen Titans version of Cyborg was a great surprise and I love that the line is doing the 2003 animated tv show as I grew up watching those characters. I loved the art style and seeing them now get highly articulated figures in this modern age is absolutely great! Now that we have this version of Cyborg though, I think the next logical Cyborg would be to do the general comic book styled one.

Deathstroke: Slade
Take everything I just said about being excited about 2003 Teen Titans figures and apply it to this spot as well, because the next Deathstroke I want to come out of the line is Slade from that television show. This version of the character was so mysterious and brutal, scary at times, and proved to be the true nemesis of the Teen Titans as a whole! The first two seasons of the show featured him as the primary antagonist up until his apparent death, and with his popularity currently no doubt owed in part to his appearances on this show I hope a Teen Titans Slade is in the cards for the future.

The Flash: CW
At this point, even with all of the reveals, the CW DC shows haven't really had any great representation aside from Green Arrow in the first wave of Mcfarlane DC figures. I hope that changes in the future though because the CW's Arrowverse has a great cast of superheroes and my personal favorite among them all is the Flash! I've been watching it for 6 seasons now and thoroughly enjoyed watching Barry on his adventures fighting his villains and overcoming obstacle after obstacle. Mcfarlane's recently revealed Flash figure looks absolutely great, and that level of articulation is something I hope to get in a CW version of the Flash. I hope that the season 6 suit is the one that Mcfarlane chooses to adapt as well, being the cleanest and sleekest looking suit of the series.
