Top 5 most wanted Sony Spiderman universe Marvel Legends figures
Marvel Legends really surprised a lot of us by revealing a Venom movie inspired Venom figure in their most recent line up of Venomverse characters. It was something I really wasn't anticipating happening with Sony and Marvel's discrepancy with one another, but now I feel like the door has been opened for more collaboration between the two when it comes to figures. I hope that Venom is just the start, and that we can get a whole slew of new movie based figures from Sony's Spiderman universe! Here are the top 5 from Sony's movie past I hope to see in Marvel Legend's future!

5. Spidermen
I'm placing this spot at the bottom because I feel like they are the two most obvious choices to be done. Both Tobey Maguire's Spiderman and Andrew Garfield's brought something new to the webslinger and while both have gotten figures in the past from Marvel Legends' hayday, their figures are very outdated and in desperate need of being redone. With Marvel Legends' current expertise in creating incredible Spiderman figures, I have no doubt that they'd be able to create the definitive versions of both these incarnations in toy form.

4. Riot
While I wasn't a massive fan of the Venom movie, I did really like the villain: Riot. I thought he looked really cool with an ugly head and his constant morphing of his hands into different weapons. That allows a lot of possibility when it comes to the figure's accessories, but even if it is just a vanilla Riot figure I would be alright because the character's design alone looks great.

3. Doc Ock
The villains of the Spiderman universe is truly where things shine. Doc Ock is an example of not only one of the best Spiderman villains in comic book movies but one of the best comic book movie villains in general. Spiderman 2 took the concept of a scientist with four giant metal tentacles coming out of his back and made it into a grounded concept that not only didn't seem too farfetched but had a emotionally resonating story with one of the most layered villains on screen. Spiderman 2 also stands the time as possibly the best Spiderman movie of all time, in part thanks to Doctor Octopus.

2. Amazing Spiderman 2: Electro and Green Goblin
The designs of Amazing Spiderman 2 really shone where the story and plot of the movie fell short, and I really liked this incarnation of the Green Goblin. No longer was he just a guy wearing a green suit, but he had been physically altered into something ugly, something grotesque and he truly took on the crazed moniker of the Green Goblin. I would love to get this design made into the figure realm, complete with his glider. I still really enjoyed Electro as a villain too. His design alone is what really captures me, with the pulsating blue energy of his skin lending itself to what would be an incredible figure. We technically got a figure of this character back when the movie came out, but it bore little actual resemblance to what we got in the movie, and I hope Marvel Legends can rectify that with a truly accurate figure.

1. Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse figures
This is quite possibly one of my favorite Spiderman movies ever and I was blown away after watching it. I really loved this story and take on the characters, with Miles and the introduction of the Spiderverse being a nice change of gears from past Spiderman movies. We got token figures for Miles and Gwen when the movie came out, repainted versions of their comic book figures, though with comic book unmasked headsculpts. I really want the line to really give the movie the love it deserves and give us Miles and Gwen based solely on the movie, with the correct unmasked headsculpts. Peter B Parker would be a great figure to get, an out of shape Spiderman, while the designs of the villains were nothing but stellar! Green Goblin, Kingpin, and Prowler would all be dreams come true for my wishlist!
