Top 5 most wanted Transformers Beast Wars updated figures
Netflix recently made the announcement that the third part of Hasbro's War for Cybertron Transformers trilogy is going to be named "Kingdom" with strong ties to the Beast Wars side of the franchise evident in a poster we've recieved featuring these characters. While this not only means thta the Beast Wars character will be appearing in a new tv show in a couple years, this means we will likely be getting these fan favorite characters in the third year of the toyline as well! Fans have been waiting for modern day updated figures of these characters beyond what was given when the show first came out, and while select characters have gotten new figures every so often, this is the first time in a long time the entire offering of Beast Wars seems up to get figures in a line and I'm looking at the top 5 characters from that show I'm hoping to see get updated figures!

5. Optimus Primal
This is one of the bigger names on the list and I'm placing him lower down because we are essentially guarenteed to get Optimus Primal with a return to Beast Wars focus! I'm expecting it to be based on his season 1 apperance since that is what most fans are familiar with (and what the poster features) and it will be really cool to get a Prime figure that turns into a gorilla and recreates the tv show design! We got his later form in the final wave of Power of the Primes, but that first gorilla mode is what I'm looking for.

4. Megatron
Just like Optimus, Megatron is a no brainer to expect in the line and his purple dinosaur mode is something I'm very keen to see. Getting figures that turn into somewhat realistic looking animal modes will be a big departure from what we've gotten used to with obviously machine alt modes ranging from vehicles to robotic animals like the Dinobots, and Megatron's t-rex mode will hopefully look awesome even in its purple coloring.

3. Blackarachnia
The recent recipient of a Masterpiece figure, Blackarachnia's place as one of the most popular Beast Wars characters should more than secure her a place in the upcoming toyline. Her spider mode will be definitely very unique even among all the other animals in the Beast Wars line, and I'm hoping already that her various spindly legs wont be a hassle to handle.

2. Rhinox
One of the absolute best characters to come out of the Beast Wars era was the heart, brains, and muscle of the team: Rhinox! The character's rhinoceros mode will look awesome, like I've been saying for all of the animal modes on this list, and his robot mode as well is something I'm looking forward to having a modern update.

1. Cheetor
I feel pretty confident in saying that Cheetor is probably the most successful character to come out of the Beast Wars series. While many of the other characters will get a figure or appearance maybe every so often, Cheetor has been consistently used in toylines and other media with some major appearances in the Cyberverse tv show recently! This brash and immature bot was a lot of fun during the original show and as I've said for literally everyone else on this list, that cheetah alt mode is going to hopefully look awesome if we get this figure in the toyline. I cannot wait to see animal modes incorporated once again into the Transformers line of action figures, and while I love Earthrise, I'm ready for Kingdom to come!
