Top 5 favorite Power Rangers Lightning Collection figures of 2021

Hasbro's Lightning Collection line of Power Rangers action figures seemed to get hit hard by the delays in shipping this year with lots of figures still awaiting release; however, the amount of figures we still got were plentiful with some real winners across the line! Everyone has their preferences, each figure is somebody's favorite figure, but in my personal preferences this list will be going over the top 5 Lightning Collection figures I was most excited about and had the most fun with this year!

5. SPD Green
Starting the list off is Bridge from the SPD series, one of the final members of the SPD cast to be granted entry into the Lightning Collection line and I think he came out great! He sports the same weaponry as the rest of the SPD figures, with his paint aps on point and that headsculpt dead on to the actor!

4. Zeo Green
Keeping with green for a moment, Adam was another character to bring us closer to rounding out a full team of rangers and I think he is definitely one of the best Zeo rangers in the line! I love his color, the square shape of his visor, and along with a great likeness on the headsculpt the figure includes the epic axes the character uses!

3. Dino Thunder Blue
The final ranger to make an appearance on this list is Ethan from Dino Thunder, my personal favorite season and so I was ecstatic to start 2021 off with another Dino Thunder ranger! Just like Trent and Conner he comes with great accessories, a recognizable Ethan headsculpt, but the big stand out in the release was definitely the Tricera-shield! Easily one of the largest accessories a figure in the line has gotten so far, and a ton of fun to pose around with!

2. Pudgy Pig
I wasn't very keen on paying the premium price point for the Pudgy Pig exclusive release, so I was over the moon when a standard version was released at Target this year! I fell in love with this design in plastic form as it has come out as such a unique, stellar action figure that's unlike anything else put into figure form before! It is wild, weighty, and so dynamic! Out of all the monsters released so far, and having been revealed for release, I think this pig easily tops them all as the best monsters release yet!

1. Tenga Warrior
Closing out this list will be the primary goons of the latter parts of Mighty Morphin, the winged Tenga warriors! When I first picked up one of these figures in box I was shocked by just how heavy it was, and the figure delivers as a solid, durable piece of plastic that perfectly brings to life the winged warriors of Rito! I could go on and on about the sculpting detail given to the feathers, headsculpt, and armor pieces, but I will really zero in on the mesmerizing paint work given to the feather tips, and the fact that two entirely separate styles of wings were included with the figure to encourage alternate looks and army building!
