Top 5 most wanted Transformers Animated TCG cards
The Transformers card game has branched out into other continuities a couple times to bring us non G1 characters such as Demolisher from the War for Cybertron games, who was based on an Armada character. One of the most recent notable non G1 characters to make their debut in the card game is Lockdown, who originally hails from the Animated tv show, and with the hopes that the card game will continue to pull characters from other Transformers universes I'm looking towards Animated in this post for the top 5 characters from that show I'd like to see receive cards in the card game from Wizards of the Coast. So here are my top 5 picks!

5. Human Supervillains
This was something I find really interesting about Animated is that they had human supervillains who took on the Autobot more than a few times, with a sizable amount of foes hailing from this group. Having human characters as micromasters would be an extremely fun concept, and would be great to highlight unique characters like Meltdown and Headmaster!

4. Bulkhead
This is a character who went on to larger fame because of his initial appearance in this show, carrying over to other media like the Transformers Prime television show as a regular there as well. Bulkhead was a very fun presence on the show and added a lot of the heartfelt humor, especially as it was revealed later on that he was actually a technical genius! Getting Bulkhead in the card game would be really fun and offers to chance to do a very powerful and tank-like Autobot card.

3. Jetstorm and Jetfire
They weren't in the show very long, but I found this duo of Autobot twins very endearing and in general I just loved everything about them! Not only are their designs cool to look at, but in terms of the card game I think that their gimmick of being able to combine into a larger bot would make them a powerful two person team in the game! Safeguard could be accomplished in the same manner as wave 2's Dreadwing, albeit becoming a bot rather than a big plane.

2. Constructicons
I love the combiner characters and I think it is great that they are in the card game, but I also think that when they end up being 5 stars each they become a bit bad on their own unless they're part of their term or used as a smaller character alongside stronger allies. I'd like to have some combiner characters who are just plain strong and don't rely on others. Scrapper and Mixmaster didn't combine in this show, so we could potentially get cards of them that don't either and just have individually strong combiner characters! Dirt Boss would be a fun new character as well!

1. Lugnut
Out of all of the characters that Animated introduced to a larger audience, Lugnut was the one I really fell in love with. The design of this brutal cyclops is absolutely gorgeous and his undying, devout love for Megatron made him a scary force to be reckoned with in the show. I would love to get a card of this character in the game, and he would have to be suitably beefy to match his show appearances; high attack, high defense, high health, just give the Decepticons a pure powerhouse.
