Top 5 most wanted Star Wars the Black Series female figures
The female characters in Star Wars may be few and far between, but their presence has become more known in the franchise with the introduction with even more female heroes and the Black Series line from Hasbro has been accommodating this increase in gender diversity! Leia has been a part of the line from the beginning, but we finally got our first Padme, and sequel trilogy and spinoff characters like Jyn, Qi'ra, Cara Dune, Zorri Bliss, Holdo, and Jannah all received figures over the past few years. I've always thought that the women of Star Wars are some of the coolest characters in the franchise, and here are the five I want to get figures from most in the 6 inch Black Series line!

Honorable mention: Adult Qi'ra
While I do like the Qi'ra action figure that we got from Solo, I will admit I am among the masses that say we got the wrong version of her. The younger years version doesn't fit in with any of the figures we got besides Moloch, and we sorely need the older version who worked alongside the heroes during the brunt of the movie! That was when we saw her at her coolest especially during her battle against Dryden Vos, and hopefully the line won't forget about Solo like it seemingly has Rogue One.

5. Zam Wessel
With the recent burst of Prequels support in the line I hope it isn't too much longer until we get this really cool bounty hunter who had limited time in the Attack of the Clones movie. Her action scenes were very cool though, and I loved the entire sequence in which Obi Wan and Anakin had to chase her through the crowded skies of Coruscant! The purple outfit she wears also lends itself well to figure form, and a swappable face plate featuring her alien look would be a must.

4. The Armorer
The Mandalorian has been a breakaway hit with fans and all of the figures have for the most part been selling like hot cakes. I'm sure that the Armorer would get the same kind of love because fans have loved her scenes in the show, and her amazing fight scene in the finale episode gives even more credence to her deserving a cool figure in the line!

3. More Leia
With the tragic passing of Carrie Fisher, I'm surprised that the line hasn't given us a lot more Leia in order to celebrate her time on Star Wars and honor her actor. Leia is well loved among fans of all ages and all of her looks are ones that deserve to be in the line just because of how amazing she played the role in each movie. While the original trilogies forms of Leia like the Bespin dress and Endor battle outfit are expected due to their legacy status, her dresses from the sequel trilogies deserve to be checked off just as much with the Last Jedi and Rise of the Skywalker being big movies for her character.

2. More Padme
My personal favorite female character from the franchise has to be the Queen turned Senator Padme Amidala! Her constant struggle with what was right in the galaxy and what her heart told her was a struggle she shared with Anakin, but her devotion to the Senate was really tested when she saw it utterly fail again and again until it became a full on Empire. Padme was always one of the smartest characters in the films, and while her time in the action was always brief she more than made up for it with her riveting fight against a corrupt political system. On a more action figure focused front, her huge wardrobe features some of the coolest looking outfits and dresses that visually deserve figures because of how much they would stand out on the shelf. Obviously, there is still her iconic episode 1 red Queen dress, as well as her more action oriented jumpsuit from the climax of the movie. Other outfits of hers that stand out to me include her Naboo pilot jumpsuit from the AOTC opening, her flowery dress from her time on Naboo in the second film, and the tan outfit she wore when she met Anakin on Mustafar.

1. Female prequel Jedi
Jedi are definitely one of the most enduring parts of the whole franchise and Im so excited that the line is finally leaning into the droves of prequel Jedi that that trilogy introduced. Kit Fisto and Plo Koon are great first picks to delve into this group but of course there is a huge amount left undone to be tapped upon for the future. Some of my favorites growing up were the female Jedi in the ranks, with Aayla Secura being a very popular one among fans to the point that she was one of the standouts in Clone Wars and one of the playables in the original Battlefront 2. Shaak Ti was another I really liked and spent a while playing as in Lego Star Wars, with them both having the potential for visually amazing figures. Aayla's blue skin and head tentacles would help her make a stamp in the line, along with Shaak Ti's colorful head tentacles. Luminara is also another very popular Jedi from the movies and Clone Wars, deserving a figure just as much as the others.
