Flash keeps rolling forward this season with episode two of their season 6 which continues to make me think season 6 might be one of the best seasons of the show!

10 villains I want to see in CW's The Flash
Starting off fast, we get Barry and Iris discussing the impending crisis and Barry ultimately decides that he needs to see the future for himself to learn more about the upcoming crisis. Things don't go quite right though, and he finds he is unable to time travel to the future to see what comes of the world. The wall of antimatter blocking his path brings him to earth-3 where Jay Garrick studies dark matter, and while previously he shunned Barry for time traveling he actually supported it this time which helps point out also how dangerous the upcoming crisis is. Since time travelling there was impossible, Jay uses a device he built to project Barry's consciousness into the future, where he witnessed billions of possible future, and we watched the world evaporate in a storm of red antimatter. It was a tense scene, and every scene with Barry following this I thought was really well acted as Barry came to realize with himself that he does have to die in order to save everyone. He proceeded to sit out most of the rest of the episode, his body on fire due to the procedure firing his neurotransmitters so much, but we still got several great scenes with him talking to Iris and Joe about what he saw. The talk with Joe was especially inspiring as Joe did his best as dad-Joe and gave Barry a resounding speech about having courage and resilience to face the call of duty; and that Barry wouldn't just be giving up. I loved every bit of the Barry story line this episode, especially getting to see Jay again, along with the introduction of his wife who is Nora Allen's doppelganger; which visibly had a comforting effect over Barry.
In the other parts of the episode. Killer Frost took the dominant role over Caitlin this time, though I'm not quite sure how I feel about this. She is becoming very edgy, very punkish, and it is hard to take the story line seriously especially because she's acting like a moody teenager. When Ralph had his face burned, Caitlin was the medical doctor and could've helped more than Cisco who is just an engineer, but Killer Frost refused to let Caitlin out. Was Caitlin okay with that? Her arc this time was realizing others had feelings as she bashed an art show at the beginning of the episode, and came to appreciate others' efforts by the end.
The other main portion of the story centered around a young girl who purportedly had killed someone using ultraviolet powers, though Cecil felt that the girl was innocent, and after some investigation they found that the girl really was innocent and it was her long lost, supposed dead cousin who had the same powers committing the crimes. This same lost cousin had also been apparently trained by a secret organization as an assassin, which right now all seems very cheesy even for the Flash; and I wonder how it will tie into the overall story of whats happening. Barry came back to action and took on Ultraviolet though, defeating her and showing that he will not give up. The innocent girl, Allegra, has now joined Iris' paper though, so I suppose we'll be seeing more of her this season (sadly there was no appearance from Chester this episode...), and I wonder if her cousin will continue to play a role as well.
As the episode ended, we had Barry and Iris deciding to tell the team about the impending Crisis, while Ramsey Rosso dealt with the arms dealer he had accidentally murdered earlier in the episode after being refused another one of the dark matter guns he had been planning to buy. His blood based attack had pierced the man; however, the corpse rose up by the end of the episode and let out a great roar. Not as much Ramsey in this episode but he is still present, and it'll be interesting to learn more about his powers going forward, especially after he seemingly killed and revived someone! We'll see how the team handles it next week, and looks like Ramsey will be making himself acquainted with the whole team now!
