Top 5 most wanted Transformers TCG cards from Revenge of the Fallen
Following up on my post about the Transformers cards I wanted most from the 2007 film, I'm delving into the second film in the franchise with Revenge of the Fallen! Wizards of the Coast have a great game on their hand and I'm hoping soon that they expand outside of the G1 property and take on other Transformers media; the movies in specific which I know are well known and recognizable to the fans and general public. So without further introduction, here are my top 5 most wanted characters cards from the second film!

5. Constructicons
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Constructicons in the movies. I love their diesel-esque, mechanical, almost monstrous designs and how unique each of them are from each other. They were bulky, powerful, and formed into a gigantic Devastator thought I thought looked awesome and appropriately gruesome as multiple Transformers fused together. I'm not sure how the card game will pull this group off though. I don't want them to be a bunch of 3-4 star characters in order to play them all together, because then they're all just weak on their own. I would much prefer something like the Sentinels and Dinobots, where their gimmicks allow you to combine them eventually, but each member is still strong in their own right. Plus, having eight different bots would certainly stretch the 25 stars thin between them all.

4. Soundwave
One of the most clever parts of the movie series I thought was turning Soundwave into a satellite. The chief communications and spy officer of the Decepticons fits that role better than any other Transformers as he can effectively spy on the whole world without anyone knowing about him. While the card may be given low attack, it can have plenty of "plan", "focus", and the ability to look into the opponents hand or deck somehow. A true spy character.

3. Arcee triplets
Motorcycles are one of the factions that haven't gotten a lot of focus in the game so far, thought wave three gave us our first motorcycle specific card and the number of characters in that faction are growing. The Arcee triplets from the second film would easily bolster those ranks with three more bots, who could also be themed together to fit into their own specific deck like the Firecons. It could easily give the team more recognition, and potentially a powerful deck if done right.

2. The Fallen
The titular character from the film could be an interesting one if done correctly. While he can easily be made into just a strong character card, I hope the designers take it one step further and try to incorporate more of the character's movie lore! The fact that he can only be killed by a Prime means that the card could be given a very high defense stat; however, while playing against a character named "Prime" that defense is severely dropped. It would be a lot of fun and definitely unique that would make the card stand out.

1. Sideswipe
In my opinion, the best bot addition to the cast outside of the Constructicons was Sideswipe. From his opening scene it was obvious that this roller blading, sword wielding Autobot was awesome and his sleek, slim design along with a devil may care attitude solidified him as one of the best movie Autobots. Due to his small size, the card could be given low health and defense, but bolster him with attack and make his swords weapons in the battle card deck for more layered play with him.
