Top 5 most wanted unlikely Transformers Studio Series figures
Transformers Studio Series line from Hasbro has been running for around two years now and in that time we've gotten a lot of obvious, long awaited characters to make their return to the toy world with an upgraded figure, or characters to get their first figure ever! At the same time, we've gotten several characters who I never expected we would get in the line, some in the first year even! With the line giving such a diverse list of obvious and unexpected characters, I'm presenting my top 5 most wanted unlikely Transformers Studio Series figures!

5. Alice
Several characters in the line have come with smaller characters as accessories, and I'm hoping that at some point we'll get a ROTF Decepticon who includes Alice as a companion! She was one of the more standout cons in the second film with multiple scenes devoted to her, along with being the only Transformer to turn into a human! It would be really neat to get a little figurine of her with a Grindor or potentially anywhere they could fit her in!

4. Frenzy
With characters coming with smaller characters all the time, like Megatron with Igor, Blackout wih Scorponok, Soundwave with Laserbeak, I would have thought Frenzy would be an obvious character to be in the line in this capacity. Barricade came out without him though, and the 2007 Megatron seemed to be our last hope before it was revealed that he did not come with Frenzy either. This character now lies in limbo and it doesn't seem clear if he'll even be in the line, which is a shame because a Studio Series Frenzy would be perfect alongside the other 2007 Decepticons.

3. Decepticon protoform
The line has done some obscure bots, but I don't know if they would dip into this one at all. The Decepticon protoform soldiers were definitely front and center a lot during the second two films of the first trilogy, with a striking, spiked design that would absolutely look stunning in figure form; but would the line give us this random army builder? It would require a completely unique mold, and they don't transform unless they turn into the meteors they arrive as. I would love to get these background grunts, but I'm not sure if Hasbro would go for them.

2. Junkheap
This is getting into more well known bots, but ones I'm not sure, just like the previous entry, if Hasbro will go for. Junkheap in the AOE film with comprised of three different bots who all combined into a garbage truck. I love combiners, and the bots themselves have the capacity to be army builders and look great side by side. The Arcees prove that Hasbro would do multiple characters as one size class, so a leader class would fit perfectly for these three Decepticons; I just hope Hasbro will jump on them as they have the other KSI drones in the film.

1. Devcon
At this point, having Bonecrusher and the Constructicons nearing completion, this guy would be the grail of the line for me. Watching Dark of the Moon, and thinking about the movie ever since, this Decepticon always stood out to me as an alien, monstrous Decepticon who absolutely rocked every short scene he appeared in. The crazy design would be very toyetic as an action figure, and a leader class figure of him after all these years would be well deserved. As a background character though who would require a lot of new tooling, and who doesn't fit into a line wide gimmick like the upcoming combining Overload, Devcon might be out of Hasbro's ambitions. Though it could be said that a combining Devastator was one thought to be out of their ambitions before as well...
