Top 5 most wanted Power Rangers Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin monsters of the week

Hasbro recently put up a video on their Hasbropulse website talking about the classic monsters of the week villains that Power Rangers typically fight in each episode of the franchise. That's got me wondering if they have these specific villain types on the brain and if we could see them included in the line soon? The variation of designs of these villains are literally everything, as almost every object or idea out there has been turned into a Power Ranger villain at some point over these almost 30 years the show has been running. Mighty Morphin seems like the obvious place to start with these baddies, and there is quite a few iconic foes to pull from those original batch of villains. So with the Power Rangers line still powerfully pushing forward, these are the top 5 monsters of the week I'd like to see made into plastic form!

5. See Monster
The similarities to the inappropriate "flasher" might make this monster harder to get approved in modern day society, but the design of this creature would no doubt go down as one of the best and unique sculpts in the entire line (as many of these monsters likely would). The creepy, jacketed form with the odd, gross head alone makes it stand out but the plethora of eyes adjourning the inside of its "coat" is something I'd like to see Hasbro conquer.

4. Crabby Cabbie
There were a few vehicle based monsters the Power Rangers have fought but the Crabby Cabbie is definitely one of the most notable across the years. Its race of terror across Angel Grove left a few characters trapped within it (despite its size not being impressive) and the wacky, monstrous design of this cab would translate into a sure fire stand out for the line that could grab the attention even of those not too interested in the rangers themselves.

3. Spidertron
Spiders are typically something that can be counted on to make great monsters in any media, and that proves true here too with the Spidertron monster. Its creepy array of arms would give it a lot of posing capabilities of a figure and the grotesque, huge spider head that it possesses is truly nightmare inducing with all of its pincers and eyes.

2. Pumpkin Rapper
Popular enough to get its own Pop figure a couple years ago, the Pumpkin Rapper returned a few times like many other Power Ranger villains in order to cause mayhem and also spit out some gnarly tunes while he did it. This is one of the simpler monster designs on this list, as he primarily has a humanoid body with the gigantic pumpkin head being his true centerpiece, but his notability as one of the most memorable Power Ranger foes to me earns him a spot here.

1. Pudgy Pig
The number one spot on this list is the first ever monster we saw the Power Rangers throw day with! The Pudgy Pig has a proclivity for consumption and his monstrous form as a giant pig's head with arms sprouting from within his mouth, and the odd design choice of a spartan helmet round out the unique and memorable appearance of this monster of the week. He later returned to become good as he found his true love in a regular farm pig, marking him as one of the few Power Ranger monsters of the week to actually get an arc to their character. As the first villain we ever saw the Rangers go up against, that alone should mark Pudgy Pig's importance to the franchise and his qualifications for getting a figure.
