Top 5 most wanted Power Rangers Lightning Collection female figures
Hasbro's line of Power Rangers action figures has been great so far but there is one big thing missing from the line that a lot of fans having been pointing out as more figures are coming out. There is a distinct lack of female representation, when many of the rangers and villains are females themselves. So far Kimberly from Mighty Morphin is the only female character from the series we have in the Lightning Collection, and I'm hoping that more are on the way soon bcause there are a lot of strong female characters in the series. Here are my top 5 picks!

5. Katherine
Katherine was Kimberly's replacement by the end of Mighty Morphin and went on to star in both Zeo and Turbo before leaving the show herself. I really enjoyed Katherine's time on the show and her introduction as a villain from Rita really mirrored Tommy's entrance to the show, along with her arc of coming to realize that she was acting evil after Kimberly was injured. Zeo has already been tapped upon for the show so getting Zeo Katherine would be awesome!

4. Trini
After Kimberly, Trini is arguably the most well known female ranger as she is the original yellow ranger from the first ever show. Mighty Morphin has been given a lot of love and focus as the team has almost come to a close for the line; we're still missing Trini though and she would be a sure fire hit with fans as she is one of the core five.

3. Cassie
Katherine's replacement for the second half of Turbo, and then going into In Space, I really loved having Cassie as a ranger. She was fun, determined, strong willed and had a lot of great story lines that gave focus to her personality and development. Her presence on In Space boosted my enjoyment of the season even further, and I hope we get her soon to go along with the Psycho Rangers.

2. Rita
The most well known Power Rangers villain by a long shot has got to be Rita Repulsa. She is a constant staple of the show's image and with so many other villains in the line getting made, I'm hoping that the original big villain will be making her appearance as well in one of the next couple of waves. Her dynamic with Zedd was definitely one of my favorite parts of the series, so having Zedd already makes my need for her figure drastically more dire.

1. Astronema and the Pink/Yellow Psychos
These all come from the same season so I'm grouping them together for the top slot. Another reason I loved In Space so much was because of the villains. Karone/Astronema was a layered villain with a constantly revolving hair style that added more flair to her apperance as she could spontaneously appear with a new color of hair. Her constant fight against evil and her feud with Andros was really interesting to watch as well. The Psycho Rangers as a whole were a very fun addition to the show, and with two out of the way already I hope it isn't much longer until the final three come to our shelves, the pink and yellow in particular.
