Top 5 most wanted MCU phase 1 Marvel Legends figures
Lately it seems like Hasbro has wanted to catch up on some of the movie figures they missed out on by ways of the 10th anniversary line and then Marvel's 80th anniversary line, along with random multipacks thrown in at random. I have no issue with this as I love the MCU and have been hoping to get figures of some of the older characters, and starting here I'll look at the top 5 phase 1 characters I want to get in the Marvel Legends line sooner rather than later!

5. Chitauri soldier
These creatures were the fodder in the first Avengers film that were used for the Avengers to have their huge battle across New York. Floods of these aliens creatures came through and were subsequently killed in droves as fast as they came, though they did eventually start to overwhelm the heroes. They would make for great army builder in the movie line, as well as neat characters with lots of potential detailing.

4. Odin and the Warriors 3
This spot encompasses a few characters that I think can be lumped together. Both work for any of the phases, but I'm focusing on them here because I feel like their presence in the first Thor film was the best out of the trilogy. Odin was obviously a very powerful figure played by a great actor who brought the character to life. The armor and status of Odin should be enough to warrant a great figure, while Thor's friends would be a fun batch of Asgardian warriors to have on the shelf. We got Sif in a two pack with Thor, so now we just need the Warriors 3 alongside her.

3. Whiplash
Hasbro's look into the earlier films has really focused a lot on the villains, and that's the kind of choices I have for these top 3 slots. First up is a villain that I wasn't thrilled on, but in terms of action figures he could have one of the coolest MCU action figures to date. Whether or not they use his later outfit, or the one he wore when he attacked the race track, Whiplash could come out as a beautiful, intimidating hunk of plastic.

2. Iron Monger
This was the first villain of the MCU and one of the best. He deserves to get a true figure after all of these years, and the absolute bulk of what would be his action figure would give him a definite presence on the shelves of all collectors. If they could somehow get the rights to include a Jeff Bridges head I would be ecstatic, but if not I'll settle for just a figure in general.

1. Hulk and Abomination
I love the Incredible Hulk film, even if it seems like the MCU has forgotten it exists. The design of Hulk in the movie was one that I really liked, with a leaner, darker green to his body along with longer hair and a more muscular physique. It looked completely powerful, and getting a figure of that rendition of Hulk would be great. Abomination was the villain of that film and the monstrous design for this character would be one that I would argue could top all the previous movieverse figures before it. It would be massive, intimidating, and have a welcome spot to my collection.
