Top 5 most wanted X-Men characters in the MCU
We're still a few years away from the X-Men making any kind of entrance in the MCU universe, but I'm still very excited for their eventual debut and have been thinking about which characters I want to see most in the rebooted film franchise. This is the first time, technically, that the live action X-Men universe is being rebooted meaning we're going to see entirely, brand new versions of characters that we've known both the young and older versions of from Fox's franchise. With so many Mutants abroad in the comics, it's hard to choose the top 5 I want to see most, but I'm going with some well known entries for this list. So here are the top 5 X-Men characters I want to see in the MCU.

5. Multiple Man
He appeared in a very small role in X-Men 3: the Last Stand, but I want to see him in a more expanded role because his power set is one of my absolute favorite superpowers in all of superhero comics. The ability o self duplicate is one I've always thought it could be really fun and useful, and I really want to see the movies use it more by reintroducing this character.

4. Jubilee
My introduction to the X-Men franchise was the old 80s cartoon, which began with Jubilee escaping from a Sentinel. Ever since I've loved the character of Jubilee and her ability to create firework-like explosions, but the movies have so far let me down when it comes to her inclusion. Her cameos int eh first trilogy were cut out, and though she had a larger role in X-Men: Apocalypse she ultimately didn't even partake in the overall story and never once used her powers. Hopefully Marvel can finally put this character to use and give me the live action Jubilee I've been waiting for.

3. Cyclops
Another character I would argue wasn't handled very well in Fox's movies was Cyclops. He was either being brainwashed, being killed, being absent because he was killed, or overall just not getting to do very much. I know the character can be a strong willed, fierce leader but so far we haven't really gotten that in any of the movies. Laser vision is visually one of my favorite powers and hopefully Marvel can give this character more time to shine.

2. Storm
I feel like I'm saying this a lot, but here is another character that I don't think Fox handled very well. She didn't get much int he way of characterization until the third film when it was spotty at best. Her immense power was on display in Days of Future Past but it was still a smaller role, while the young counterpart to her character never really left a lasting impression. The character deserves a lot more, and hopefully Marvel can follow through on yet another powerful female character.

1. Wolverine
What other X-Men character or mutant in general could be more anticipated for the new franchise? How could Marvel ever hope to top what Hugh Jackman did with the character over the past two decades? It'll be interesting to see what they do with the character, how they're make him differ from the previous incarnation, and how well he'll resonate with fans. At this moment, I can't think of any actor who could fill those claws, and that's what makes me most interesting in seeing this character in the MCU.
