NECA has always been really great at delivering constantly fantastic figures that fans love. Especially when it comes from smaller franchises that otherwise wouldn't be getting the action figure treatment if NECA wasn't around to give us these figures themselves. They've always been high end, and this year we have gotten a ton of really great products that it was hard to narrow things down to five slots for this list. But here are my top 5 favorite NECA products of 2019!

5. Ninja Turtles
NECA has seemed to blow up in terms of what they're doing with their Turtles license. We've already gotten a slew of figures with a ton announced and revealed for future waves, dipping into the obscure! The four turtle figures we got, and some of the others like Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady are all really great and I'm very excited to see this line continue for hopefully a long time!

4. Dancing clown Pennywise
Since the Pennywise figures all use the same base body, this wasn't totally a new figure for 2019 but the execution of this version of Pennywise was definitely my favorite. I love the first IT movie from 2017 and the figures NECA has made for the killer clown have been really great, though getting the spider legs, and the assortment of heads including the deadlights and painting woman were definitely stellar choices that made this release stand out for me.

3. Crooked Man
I loved the Crooked man from Conjuring 2 in the short appearance that he had in that movie. The design of this demon I just found really appealing and I'm so excited for the upcoming movie about him! I was also super stoked to find out that NECA was producing a figure of him, and it looks really great, and the removable hat makes the figure ever more sweeter!

2. 2009 Jason
Unfortunately, NECA hasn't been able to continue producing Jason Voorhees figures because of some lawsuit, but thankfully they were able to get out a few great Jasons before that happened, and this included the 2009 version of Jason who is my personal favorite! I love the dirty, modern look and this figure is only a few accessories short of being perfect to me. I would've liked a bear trap, but the fire poker, screwdriver, ax, and especially the machete all look great when given to this massive figure! The alternate heads are also stupendous, with the sack head being a lot of fun for a different look, and the deformed design of Jason's head something we never got a good look at in the film.

1. Gremlins
NECA's Gremlins line was always one of my favorite lines to collect so when it really slowed down several years ago I was quite sad. We got sprinklings of figures every now and then, but things have ramped up to an extreme this year with a new focus on the first film! Each of the ultimate Gremlin figures have been great, right up to the recently released caroler Gremlins! The lootlauncher Gremlin set sadly didn't succeed, but NECA has said they'll try to find a way to get it released and I hope they do, because several of my favorite movie 1 Gremlins were included in that set!
