Top 5 most wanted Transformers TCG characters from Titans Return
Wizards of the Coast recently made the announcement about wave 5 of their Transformers card game, featuring a picture of a Megatron that looks VERY alike to the Titans Return figure from a few years ago. WOTC have said that the next wave would be a "throw back" to an earlier toyline, and from the announcement it seems that Titans Return might be the toyline they'll be pulling from next for their pool of figures! This could introduce Headmasters to the card game as well, a major new gimmick that would change up the game just like Micromasters and Battlemasters! With this as a possibility, I'm looking back on Titans Return for what my top 5 most wanted character cards from that bunch of toys would be for the Transformers card game!

5. Sixshot
I'm putting this character lower on the list because the Wizards of the Coast have already confirmed that they're working on getting this character into the game, but I'm very excited and interested in seeing how they handle his six different modes! I can't even imagine what kinds of gimmicks they'll have to come up with, or that Sixshot would even be a regular character in the wave (most likely an expansion set), but I'm excited to see what they come up with!

4. Sentinel Prime
I'm not super familiar with the version of the character that this toy is based of off, but it would definitely be a fun character to have in the game! Sentinel Prime opens the door for more "Prime" characters aside from Optimus and Nemesis (we still don't have Rodimus), and also would add another train to the game!

3. Triple changer Optimus and Megatron
I figure that we'll never escape constantly getting Optimus and Megatron in the card game, but these two versions would definitely be ones I'd be excited to have because it would be so different from what we already have! Triple changing versions of these characters would really open the door for more play options, and an Optimus that is also a jet really cracks open the jet specific decks he could fit into!

2. Scourge
I think it is crazy that we still don't have the main Decepticons from the later seasons of the original show, especially four waves in and how major they were in the story! Scourge was a member of that trio and was a scary force to be reckoned with, along with having an interesting episode where he obtained the Autobot matrix of leadership. He would be a first good step into the pool of reformatted Decepticons as well.

1. Galvatron
Speaking of the reformatted Decepticons from later in the show, Galvatron is by far the most popular and well known, appearing in several other Transformers media. He is the second leader of the Decepticon in G1 after Megatron, and would be an awesome, iconic character to finally get in the game! I'm not sure how his turret mode would be designated, but if they base the card off of the figure and give him the third, jet mode, it would add for a more versatile card to play with a long awaited character.
