Top 5 favorite Power Rangers figures of 2019
This was our first year of Power Rangers figures from Hasbro and I think that the Lightning Collection has definitely become one of the my most anticipated lines out of the them all! I love the franchise, and this constant stream of high end, show accurate, accessory loaded figures that pop in from every point int he show's legacy is absolutely great as a fan of the Power Rangers! It is really hard to narrow this list down to just 5 figures when so many of them have been great this year, but with a lot of internal debate, here are my top 5 Lightning Collection figures of 2019!

5. Putty Patroller
Another big thing about the line that I absolutely have fallen in love with is how often we get villain figures, even if they are for the most part relegated to Mighty Morphin foes. The Putties are an undeniable part of the Power Rangers history and getting them in the line with such a dynamic figure is awesome! The interchangeable forearms to give them different weapons was genius and I'm so glad that we got them so early into the line!

4. Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger and Red Ranger
This spot was hard for me, and I've ended up going with both of my favorite rangers from the line up this year. Kimberly stands as the only female figure in the line and hopefully she won't hold that title for long; for now though she is a really great figure with a unique mold that sets her apart from the others. Her slimmer build still utilizes the articulation scheme great and her power bow is very dynamic for posing. Jason got a standard release figure in the third wave that came out very recently, and I think he is a great representation of the on screen character as well.

3. Psycho Rangers
Very quickly we got two of the Psycho rangers from In Space, and hopefully it wont be too much longer until we get the other three to complete the line up! The two that we have so far are great figures with very faithful sculpts and details. They look great and menacing on the shelf with their weapons, and are another example of the line giving us some villains.

2. Goldar
By far this figure is the biggest that we've gotten so far from the line and also possibly the most distinct in design and sculpt. Goldar was always a fun character in the first couple of seasons, and the figure that he has received is definitely one of the best in the line! I love all of the details and the heft of this figure; the face sculpt is undeniably Goldar, and the wings allow for an added level of awesomeness when posing the figure.

1. Lord Zedd
Coming out in the first wave of the line, he is really the one that first made me realize that we would be getting Power Rangers villains in the line and I still think he is a shining example for what this line is capable of! The sculpt work on this figure is amazing with his muscles protruding from every angle, not to mention the wires and cables running throughout his body that admittedly I'm afraid will snap at some point but for now they look great on him. The staff and bomb are great accessories, and with Zedd as my introduction to the line, the bar was set very high!
