A while back I made a list talking about the seasons of Power Rangers that I most wanted to see represented in Hasbro's 6 inch scale Lightning Collection line of Power Rangers figures. Since then a couple of the shows I mentioned have gotten figures like Dino Thunder, and looking back over the seasons and what we have at this point in the line I'm revamping my original list with a new line up of shows with a great collection of rangers and villains that I hope soon see life in this fantastic figure line by Hasbro! The GI Joe line has been growing fast and have been a big hit already, with figures flying off the shelves and plenty of preorders being sold out quickly. A lot of heavy hitters in the series lore have been touched upon, including several from my previous list like Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow, and the Baroness, so I'm coming back around in the midst of the Joe craze to update my list with a new set of top 5 characters I'd like to see in their Classified collection! White rangers have definitely gotten a lot of love recently in Hasbro's Lightning Collection line. It started out with a white ranger as the first figure ever revealed was Mighty Morphin white ranger Tommy, and now we've gotten SPD Sam, Trent from Dino Thunder, and two versions of Lord Drakkon including his final form! While I recently made a post about the top 5 Black Series figures I wanted from EA's Battlefront 2 videogame, I'm looking into the past now for the 2005 Battlefront game which is considered among many as the best game out of all four Battlefront games. I also feel this way, and as a child I loaded likely hundreds of hours into this game! While its story mode wasn't anything to brag about, the extensive amount of characters and maps as well as the fun game modes and gameplay made it one of the best Star Wars games out there and now I'm looking into the top 5 characters from it I hope get made into figures! I finally caught up to playing through the story mode of Star Wars Battlefront 2 from EA and I actually really enjoyed it! While the storytelling did have a few flaws, and the flow of the story wasn't as cohesive as I would have liked, the basic plot and execution were very neat. I loved following this group of elite Stormtroopers, some of which end up deserting to the Rebellion and becoming a key force in the movement! Black Series a while back gave us a Gamestop exclusive Inferno Squad trooper that was a basic repaint of the regular Tie fighter pilot. While great, it doesn't really represent any of the members in the game, and with videogames getting a lot more figures recently I'm counting down the top 5 characters from EA's Battlefront 2 I hope get figures! The Hasbro era of Power Rangers was long and had a ton of really great hits during its time before the rights to the television show went back to Saban. Some of my favorite seasons are included here, as well as some of my favorite rangers of all time! So far the Lightning Collection from Hasbro hasn't really touched upon this era as much as I'd like, but with the future still wide open here are the rangers from each Hasbro era Power Rangers season I want most in Hasbro's 6 inch line! Out of all of the Anime that I have watched in my life, one of my all time favorite shows has to be the Naruto franchise! I love all of the characters, the world that they build within the show, and the expansive, well thought out storylines that constatnyl evolve as new things are revealed. An affordable, long line of Naruto figures akin to Marvel Legends is something I've been hoping for for a while, and while McFarlane's attempts to cover the series seemingly putter out after a single Naruto figure, Bandai has taken up the reigns in their Anime Heroes line and given us four characters already! While I would prefer Naruto to have its own line like Dragon Stars, getting regular figures in the Anime Heroes line will have to suffice, and I'm so excited to potentially fill out a Naruto display in the future!
