Top 5 favorite Ray Harryhausen movies

Image
(Image Source) Stop motion animation is something that has been lost in media usage these days with the abundance of CGI; however, this tactic of bringing to life larger than life creatures and designs has such a nostalgic and unique style that it makes me wish  we would see more of it. The recent Primevals was a glorious love letter to this age of film, and there was one master above all else that put stop motion on the map: Ray Harryhausen. His stop motion work produced several iconic films and impressed each time his projects were put to film. With a look back to the classic age of stop motion, these are my top 5 favorite films of Ray Harryhausen that I found most well done and most impressive.  5. The Valley of Gwangi As a major dinosaur I was more than excited to check out The Valley of Gwangi and was very impressed by what I saw. This was a time we saw a lot more dinosaurs in film than just Jurassic World, and their usage in Valley of Gwagi was a very fun plot that saw t...

Most wanted alternate versions of McFarlane DC Multiverse characters vol 10

Image
It has been quite a while since I've taken a look at what we have in the Mcfarlane DC Multiverse line and voiced what alternate looks and designs I want to see, but I've finally returned to this series for a gargantuan 10th edition. We've gotten numerous figures since I last discussed my most wanted alternate looks for figures in the line, so I've got lots to discuss and have grouped many characters into themed pods to make things easier to discuss. I've absolutely loved the breadth of characters and designs that have been explored in the line, especially with the recent push of Platinum editions pushing out more and more versions of characters. With the DC Multiverse never ending and far expanding, there are so many different costumes and designs for characters that I want to continue seeing in the line, and with 2025 kicking off hot there's not been a better time to discuss what various versions of existing characters I want to see made.  (Images Source) Alan ...

5 wanted S.H.Figuarts Tamashii Nations Harry Potter Sorcerer's Stone figures

Image
(Image Source) The S.H.Figuarts Harry Potter line started off a few years back with a heavy focus on Sorcerer's Stone debuting the core trio of characters along with Snape. With the revival of the line it had me going back to pick up some of the initial figures in the line which haven't grown much in price which may be part of the reason why the line took such a long hiatus, aside from Snape's after market prices. While the seemingly unimpressive sales of the Sorcerer's Stone figures may have been what sent the line into its hiatus I would still love to see the first movie in this iconic franchise fleshed out more in the line with these five choices of mine.  5. Draco (Image Source) Shown off but ultimately unreleased, I'm not sure how likely at this point it is that the Draco figure would be released but with the prototype already being completed I imagine it would be easy to put him out to go along with the rest of the cast, possibly even as a PBandai exclusive if...
