Top 5 Anime/Manga I want to see receive a S.H.Figuarts line

Happy New Year! And with the start of the new year I am putting out a post for the top shows and manga I'm hoping and wishing to see produced as an action figure line by S.H.Figuarts in the coming year! 2024 both brought Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia to the S.H.Figuarts line along with Kaiju No. 8 and numerous other properties and characters from across the anime brand. I expect many more toylines to be started and announced throughout 2025 from the anime brand, and I hope these five properties are amongst them. 

5. Soul Eater

I remember having a ton of fun watching this series in middle school and have now been going through the manga for the full story. Maka and Soul as well as the rest of the cast are extremely entertaining and all have really unique and stand out designs that make them ripe for action figure form and I'm frankly surprised that no toy company has produced articulated action figures for these characters. 

4. Junji Ito

An artist who has been receiving a lot more fanfare in recent times has been Junji Ito who is one of the most famous horror writers in the manga genre. His work has been translated into multiple television series bringing his work to more audiences, and some of his most famous characters and designs like Fuchi the fashion model, Tomie, the patient from the Long Dream would be unsettling but so cool to have in figure form!

3. Gantz

I had watched the Gantz:0 movie a while back which hooked me to the series and I just recently finished up reading the manga which was an absolutely unpredictable roller coaster of death, action, and great artwork. The characters truly stuck out and went through considerable depth during the saga, especially its primary character: Kurono. The Gantz fighters themselves in their black jumpsuits with their insane weaponry would be for great action figures, not to mention the alien beings that they fought throughout the series as well. 

2. Shiki

Out of all the anime and manga on this list I'm thinking this is the biggest pipedream, especially because I have never seen anyone talking about this aside from the one person who recommended it to me back in middle school. Since I watched it I have absolutely loved this series, its characters, the amazing musical score, and the masterful progression of the story that truly leaves you feeling bad for both sides of the story. Natsuno and Sunako would be the two obvious choices from the show to receive figures if any were too, but I'd honestly love so many of the characters, and so many of them would make great figures with their colorful and quirky but realistic designs. 

1. Bobobo

As irrelevant and random as this show could be at times, it is also harder to find a show that is more hilarious and unpredictable as Bobobo. I watched this show endlessly as a kid and I would give so much to get these characters in figure form from any company! Nendoroid has recently put out a Bobobo figurine, but a proportionally correct take on the character is what I really want and I still have hope that possibly one day they can go back (like they did with Zatch Bell) and pump out some figures for this series from my childhood.
