The S.H.Figuarts Harry Potter line started off a few years back with a heavy focus on Sorcerer's Stone debuting the core trio of characters along with Snape. With the revival of the line it had me going back to pick up some of the initial figures in the line which haven't grown much in price which may be part of the reason why the line took such a long hiatus, aside from Snape's after market prices. While the seemingly unimpressive sales of the Sorcerer's Stone figures may have been what sent the line into its hiatus I would still love to see the first movie in this iconic franchise fleshed out more in the line with these five choices of mine.
5. Draco
Shown off but ultimately unreleased, I'm not sure how likely at this point it is that the Draco figure would be released but with the prototype already being completed I imagine it would be easy to put him out to go along with the rest of the cast, possibly even as a PBandai exclusive if there are worries about low sales.
4. Dumbledore and McGonagall
This duo are an iconic duo for every film in the Harry Potter universe and in some shape or form I desperately need Tamashii Nations to put out figures representing McGonagall and Dumbledore from at least one of their many appearances in the franchise. They both could also make good use of cloth good robes similar to the upcoming Voldemort.
3. Mountain Troll
With the reveal of the Hungarian Horntail as part of their S.H.Monsterarts line the Harry Potter has a big opportunity for putting out some of the iconic creatures from the Potterverse. The Mountain Troll from the first film has always been one of my absolute favorite creatures from the universe and would love it to join the line.
2. Quirrel
A character exclusive to the Sorcerer's Stone film is Quirrel and he made a definite impression with his initial act of cowardice that gave way to his eventual reveal as the primary villain working in tandem with Voldemort. He has a very recognizable design with his head wrap, and the sculpting details of placing Voldemort's face on the back of his head would be such a cool alternate head for a figure release.
1. Hagrid
Hagrid was the one who brought Harry into the Wizarding world and essentially was also who brought the audience into the magical world of Harry Potter that enthralled us for eight movies straight. He's a gentle giant, endlessly kind, and would be a beast of a figure towering over the rest of the characters in the line. For his appearance in the first film the figure could come with the squashed cake he brought Harry, the Dragon egg, and the baby Dragon itself! I wouldn't mind a pack in Fang either.
