Top 5 wanted Mattel Jurassic World Ceratopsians

Mattel's Dinosaur line of figures had a great slew of offerings last year from both Hammond Collection and the mainline, especially with the release of Chaos Theory season 2. This year sees the release of the next big Jurassic World movie and I'm sure we will see a massive roll out of new products and new species with the Dinosaur brand headlining the entertainment industry again. Ceratopsians are a species type I haven't talked about quite yet on the blog, so here I'll count the five from these species I would like to see Mattel produce next!

5. Agujaceratops

The crest of this dinosaur splits off at the head, turning into two rounded portions that each have their own horns marking the tips of either side. I expect there will always be some ceratopsians coming in the line each year, and this one would certainly appeal to any children who are wanting something that looks similar to a Triceratops, but big time dino fans will recognize as a new unique species in the line.

4. Centrosaurus

A dinosaur that skews more towards the unique side of things is the Centrosaurus, this ones head crest has a menagerie of horns linked around the plating along with horns that become downward angled at the head of the crest similar to the Kosmoceratops, simply with fewer downward skewing horns. The primary horns of this dinosaur differ from the norm as well, with one massive nasal horn paired with two nub horns atop each "eyebrow."

3. Brachyceratops

A smaller species we have on this list would be the Brachyceratops, with one of the most unique skull designs for the ceratopsians that sees a beaded crest and two large horn protrusions down the cheeks. The armor of this creature continues down the length of the animal as well, with beaded armor scaling from head down to the tail.

2. Psittacosaurus

Another smaller dinosaur to fit into the lower price points of the line would be the Psittacosaurus, with a very unique head design when compared to most ceratopsians, especially when taken into account that it does not possess the typical iconic head crest. Along with that anatomical point, we also have two stubby arms that keep this animal from being predominant quadrupedal, as well as hair quills at the base of the tail.

1. Rubeosaurus

Turning back to larger ceratopsians for the top of the list would be Rubeosaurus, a creature with a more typical design of the ceratopsians but yet with another uniquely evolved skull design especially around the crest region. Four grand horns line the top of this head crest, leading to an imposing dinosaur species.
