Top 5 wanted McFarlane DC Multiverse comic Superman characters vol 3

The Superman family has enjoyed quite a bit of focus from Mcfarlane in his DC Multiverse line of figures. So many members of this side of the DC universe as well as variant costumes for them have been checked off, with Power Girl set to receive her first figure in the line soon, and then Val Zod and Conner Kent both having come out in the prior year. I expect lots more Superman in the line soon, especially with the new movie on the horizon, and this is my third set of top five Superman comic characters I hope to see in the line next.

5. New 52 Kon El

We've had a few versions of Superboy in the line so far, Conner in particular, but the New 52 one is one that hasn't been made yet. The New 52 has lately been enjoying a lot more representation in the line, especially on the Batman side of things, but also with other releases such as the recent Mr. Terrific and Grid. Superboy's story and design during the New 52 wasn't the character's most popular period of time; however, it is a very cool technological design with the blacks and reds that I'd enjoy to have to go along with the New 52 Red Robin we got years ago now.

4. Super-Man of China

One of the big character introductions during the Rebirth era was the Chinese Super-Man, Kenan Kong, whose appearances have become more scarce since that time but I had a ton of fun with his original comic series and seeing the Chinese side of the DC universe since we typically only see the North American events. The two different S shields that the character wore during the comic is perfect for Mcfarlane's latest trend of platinum variant chases, and a great way to give us both original looks of this character.

3. Supergirl (New 52)

Circling back to the New 52, Supergirl is one whose comic I really liked and thought was one of the standouts of the era. Whether it be her standard costume or her epic Red Lantern costume I would love to have either one in the line. The first comic Supergirl we got in the line was fine, but I think we could get a better one at this point.

2. Supergirl (Woman of Tomorrow)

Sticking with Supergirl for another slot on this list, Kara's depiction in the Woman of Tomorrow comic is what takes this slot. This comic by Tom King is incredible and I am thrilled to see it being used as the basis for the upcoming Supergirl film. Her design does not skew too far from the usual, but if they can get the boot cuffs right this time, capture the golden belt design, as well as the artwork's stylized facial features, then we'd have the perfect figure to come out in preparation of the film.

1. Jon Kent

Superman's son Jon is easily one of the most popular and impactful DC Comics characters of the modern era. We only have one figure of him in the line so far based on his more recent older comic designs, but any of his more youthful appearances is what I'm really hoping to see one day. The classic kid iteration of Jon that we had for years is the obvious next choice for the character, but personally I really loved his 2018 redesign when he first returned older after his time on Earth 3 and would feint to see this costume faithfully adapted to figure form.
