Something I haven't written about in a hot minute is the Steamforged Games Dark Souls the Board Game! I owe it to the lack of products released for it, but the recent influx of new expansions have got me hot on the game once more and I've been thinking about what characters and bosses from the videogame I would love to have in the board game going forward. This is on the assumption that the game will continue to have steady support, but at this point there's been no word really on the future of the game; however, I would love for it to continue to cover the Dark Souls universe! For this post, I will be focusing on the first game in the Dark Souls trilogy and the top 5 bosses from this first game I want to have as expansions in the board game! The MCU had a long road to Endgame and through those couple dozen movies we got lots of different villains that the heroes fought through their journey. Some were great, some were forgettable, some were bad, but some were awesome. Some have been remembered by fans years after they debuted, ranked as some of the best comic book movie villains of all time. The MCU has chugged along for 3 phases and given us lots of different stories, characters, and conflicts with the universe that the heroes have had to overcome. It all came to a head in Endgame, with the Infinity saga coming to a close. It was a long road, with lots of different creators coming onto the series with  lots of different movies with stories to tell. While a lot of it was an enjoyable ride with exciting moments from start to finish, there were also some low points that still bug me and wish they had done differently. This episode of Batwoman was a mixed bag for me because there were plenty of elements that I enjoyed but then quite a few that I am very mixed about. This is a post that I'm definitely behind on getting out there, but just today I managed to play through the kickstarter exclusive expansions with my brother for the Dark Souls board game by Steamforged games. I haven't talked about the game in a while, but I really love it and I have a blast playing it. I know a lot of people turned away from the game because of how long it has taken the expansions to come out, but I know they're trickling out eventually and aren't cancelled or anything so I just focus on other stuff in the mean time. I was very excited to get my hands on the kickstarter exclusive expansions though when Steamforged was selling them on their online store during an event, since I found the game after it had been funded and there I couldn't get in on the kickstarter backer exclusive items. This list is going to be about something a little different but something I find a lot of fun with a new product coming out. These unpainted mini models of G1 Transformers characters have started coming out by WizKids, and immediately I thought about the potential for these to be used in table top games like Dungeons and Dragons, and also just as fun things to have around and to paint. The first wave consists of Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Starscream of course (And by their unpainted virtues, Starscream can technically also be every other seeker aside from the coneheads!), and the second wave is slated to include Ironhide, Soundwave, Arcee, and a two pack of Laserbeak and Rumble (who, unpainted, can also be turned into Buzzsaw and Frenzy). Lando is definitely one of the best dressed characters in the Star Wars franchise and at this point, not a lot of his outfits have been covered in the Black Series line! We've gotten his Bespin garbs, his Skiff Guard uniform, and his main outfit from the movie Solo, but aside from that our Lando representation is very low. Leia is one of the best characters in all of the Star Wars franchise, and one of the most important as she carried the story in a lot of the scenes that she was in. Her actor tragically passed away in the last few years, but the character lived on for one last awesome appearance in the finale Star Wars movie in the Skywalker saga, solidifying her legacy as a strong character who helped bring balance to the Force. She is also one of the characters with the most outfits, it seems, and while she has had quite a few figures in the Black Series line, she still has many outfits yet to be realized in the Black Series line by Hasbro. The Mandalorian was a show I thoroughly enjoyed all 8 episodes of and cannot wait for season 2 to air later this year!
