Top 5 most wanted McFarlane DC Multiverse Batman figures
Just like Superman, Batman is one of the most popular superheroes of all time and in McFarlane's new line of DC action figures we have already gotten four versions of the character (Action comics #1000, Hellbat armor, Batman who Laughs, and animated) with a few other Batman characters helping to make up the roster of wave 1! It is very clear that the Batman mythos is a big part of McFarlane's new line of figures, and the character's popularity can attest to why. The future is almost sure to have many Batman figures on the horizon, and in anticipation of that here are the top 5 versions of Batman I want to see in McFarlane's DC line.

5. Red Son
I've talked before about how fun and entertaining I thought the Red Son Superman storyline was! It offered new takes on classic heroes that I found really compelling, and Batman was one of the stand out characters from the group. He was essentially a "terrorist" fighting back against Superman, in probably one of the most interesting arcs in the story. His outfit was one I really liked too, the design standing out with the tattered cape, heavy clothes, and obviously the hat.

4. Rebirth
We got a standard comic book Batman in the first wave of figures from McFarlane but there is a whole history of "standard" Batman costumes from the comics and the one I think I want the most is the Rebirth costume that he wore during that span of comics. He's returned to having the trunks, but the existing figure I think could easily be altered to give us this alternate version of the character. All it would take is removing the trunks from the outside of his costume, changing up the belt, and changing the symbol on the costume! They could even make the head larger to appease the fans who say the head on the first figure is too small.

3. Batman Beyond
This is a figure I've mentioned before in my lists and one that I'll say again that I want in McFarlane's line of DC action figures! They've established already that the animated figures in their roster will retain their animated look and won't be redesigned to fit in with the comic book aesthetic. I think that could really make their figure of Batman Beyond shine and differentiate it from the one Mattel did shortly before they ended their line.

2. Flashpoint
Another alternate reality version of Batman like the Red Son version, Thomas Wayne became Batman in the Flashpoint reality Flash created by going back in time and saving his mom from being murdered. This was a more grisly, hardcore version of Batman unafraid to kill and brandished pistols to help him to his job. I would absolutely love this version of Batman to receive a figure from McFarlane, and the spiked shoulders and grim look of his face would be a clear seller.

1. Movies
There has been such an expansive line of Batmen in movies that I don't know where to even start. They could go with Keaton, Bale, Affleck, even go and give us the West Batman! I don't care where they start, I just hope it won't be too long until the live action universe of Batman variations starts to come out in the line! I would prefer the Affleck version in order to start building up a DCEU display, but wherever they start I'm sure I'll be happy.
