Top 5 most wanted Wizkids Transformers Unpainted miniatures

This list is going to be about something a little different but something I find a lot of fun with a new product coming out. These unpainted mini models of G1 Transformers characters have started coming out by WizKids, and immediately I thought about the potential for these to be used in table top games like Dungeons and Dragons, and also just as fun things to have around and to paint. The first wave consists of Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Starscream of course (And by their unpainted virtues, Starscream can technically also be every other seeker aside from the coneheads!), and the second wave is slated to include Ironhide, Soundwave, Arcee, and a two pack of Laserbeak and Rumble (who, unpainted, can also be turned into Buzzsaw and Frenzy). I'm interested in this tangent part of Transformers merchandise, and here are the top 5 characters I hope to see in series 3 and beyond!

5. Grimlock
With so many heavy hitters coming out right out of the gate, I doubt it will be very long until we see the leader of the dinobots make his entrance to the line. It would be a lot of fun to have him in the line and I think it is a real possibility that his sculpted mode would be his dinosaur mode given that is his primary appearance. It would make for a really fun mini in board games, if that is the case.

4. Jazz
One of the smoothest Autobots of all time who I feel isn't getting the proper love he deserves in Transformers media currently. He hasn't had a TCG card since wave 1, Power of the Primes was the only time he received a figure in the last few years, and overall there is just a lack of Jazz in the world. This awesome G1 Autobot, who was also second in command of the forces, deserves at least to be a part of this line.

3. Wheeljack
Another very popular character in the Transformers lore, Wheeljack has a very unique and interesting design with a lot of distinct colors, a set of "wings", and the iconic ear pieces that could be painted to look like they are lighting up!

2. Reflector
This is another example of a character who would warrant multiples of his figurine being bought, as there are three nearly identical versions of this character at any given time during the original G1 cartoon. While a certain chest piece would be a problem, I'm sure it wouldn't deter fans from scooping up three of this character to set up the whole team.

1. Shockwave
Maybe the biggest character from G1 not to be covered in the line so far, although it is a young line, is Shockwave. He has always been one of my absolutely favorites, and the purple, one eyed, gun for a hand Decepticon scientist would be awesome to have as a boss in Dungeons and Dragons, or whatever other use there is for it.
