Top 5 most wanted McFarlane DC Multiverse Batman villains
One of the most popular groups of characters in the DC mythos is Batman's rogues gallery. A lot of them are more well known than a lot of the DC heroes, and are a sure bet to be appearing en mass in McFarlane's new DC line of action figures! I'm so excited for new variations of these characters with the McFarlane style that the first wave of figures have been given. The Batman who Laughs is a beautiful figure, and the Batman related characters of the line surely are stand out. So with the whole of the DC universe open for McFarlane to explore, here are the top 5 Batman villains I'd like to see made in the line!

Honorable mention: Kite Man
The obscurity of the character is what keeps him as an honorable mention rather than a full slot, but I honestly would LOVE to have Kite Man as a figure in the line! The War of Jokes and Riddles did absolute wonders for this character and made it a cult favorite among readers everywhere, and his recent appearances in the Harley Quinn tv show has introduced him to another group of fans as well. So hopefully the growing presence and popularity of the character can get him into figure form.

5. Catwoman
Undoubtedly this is one of the most popular Batman villains out there, but is lower on the list because technically is she really a villain? She's depicted a lot as a bad guy, but has been a constant love interest and ally to Batman over the years. This only furthers the point that she is an important characters in the series and deserves a new figure in the upcoming line!

4. Solomon Grundy and Bane
I cannot choose between the two of them to be honest. I would really love new versions of both of them in the line and both have been talked about by McFarlane in a recent interview about making bigger figures in the line, Bane in particular was the one he mentioned. Grundy could look amazing with the detailing McFarlane does, and with both characters featured prominently in the Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay graphic novel I would really enjoy posing them alongside one another.

3. Mr Freeze
With the way that the Bat and Superman armors came out in the first wave, I think that a Mr Freeze from McFarlane could come out divine. The suited up, armored Batman villain is right up the alley for the company who excel at armored versions of characters. The freeze gun would also be a fun addition to the figure; big accessories are something the line hasn't quite made apparent yet. It's hard to say more without knowing what version of the character the toyline will go with!

2. Poison Ivy
Something McFarlane is doing that is different from past DC lines is that the figures aren't really just figures with skin tight suits with the details painted on. Almost everything is sculpted; the insignias on the chests, the grooves and lines of the suit, it is all sculpted individually instead of just painted on which I think really raises the quality of the figures. Poison Ivy could be one of the figures to benefit most with this, as the vines and leaves that make up her outfit could look incredible with unique sculpting.

1. Joker
What other Batman villain could take the top spot here? Joker is as iconic as Batman, and there is a plethora of popular versions of this character in the comics to be picked from. I'm surprised that he wasn't included in the first wave and I bet it won't be long until he makes an appearance in the line, probably his first of many, and for the clown prince of crime McFarlane's first foray into the character will hopefully live up to Joker's popularity.
