So far in the Lightning Collection line of Power Rangers figures by Hasbro, the black ranger subgroup hasn't had a lot of representation. This is a shame because there are a ton of well deserving black rangers in Power Ranger's history that deserve a figure in the line, and I hope a few of the ones on this list are on Hasbro's radar for release. I've so far covered several colors for Power Rangers and who I wanted to see most in Hasbro's line, and this time I'm looking into the 5 black rangers I want most!

5. Wild Force
I really liked Danny as a character in the show. He was big and strong, but had a soft heart and was very soft spoken when we first meet him. He has a lot of trouble expressing himself in the show, especially to his love interest. This all made him a very lovable character and the show established in some shots that he wears his glasses under the helmet, which would be a cool thing for the figure to include in the unmasked head.

4. Non armored Mighty Morhin
We technically did get the Mighty Morhin black ranger, as Zach came out as a Walgreen's exclusive; however, this version is wearing the dragon shield that Zach used once in the show. I would love to have a clean version of the character to better represent his time on the show, and since they did it for Jason, I'm hoping that the same treatment will be coming for Zach.

3. In Space
Going into In Space, Carlos went from the green ranger to the black ranger and I continued to enjoy him in his episodes. His episodes with Silvy in particular I found a lot of fun, and as I've said before about the In Space rangers, doing any of them will be the gateway to hopefully getting them all eventually!

2. Psycho Black
Just like Psycho Yellow and Psycho Pink who were included on the lists that centered on those colors, Psycho black is technically a ranger and so I'm including him on this list. Out of all of the Psychos still left to be done, this would by far be the easiest to do. He can be an easy repaint of Blue or Red, with his spear being the only thing really that would have to be newly sculpted; and it is really an awesome spear that be great as an accessory.

1. Dino Thunder
I was ecstatic with Tommy's return in this later show, during which he acted as the team's mentor rather than an active member of the team. While I liked that dynamic, I was definitely thrilled to see him armor up again as a Power Ranger and not in one of his past uniforms but as the Dino Thunder black ranger! A whole new outfit to fit in with the current team, and I think the outfit looks absolutely killer. We've gotten three versions of Tommy already in the line, and it wouldn't hurt a thing to have a fourth!
