Top 5 most wanted GI Joe 6 inch figures from Hasbro
Rumors going around the internet say that we're going to be getting a new line 6 inch line of GI Joe action figures from Hasbro to line up with the upcoming Snake Eyes movie being worked on. This is something fans have wanted for a long time and a property I've always had an interest in, airing right alongside Transformers. The line up of wave 1 reportedly consists of Duke, Scarlet, Snake Eyes, Destro, and Roadblock which sounds like a solid wave 1 roster of characters, and the line name is supposedly "Classified." They will probably make their debut at the upcoming toyfair, and in anticipation of the line I'm counting down my top 5 most wanted 6 inch scale GI Joe figures.

5. Movie figures
This is more of a subgroup of characters but I would love for the live action movies to be mixed in alongside the cartoon line up of characters. I enjoyed both of the previous films, Rise of Cobra and Retaliation, and I would be shocked if there were no toys to accompany the upcoming Snake Eyes movie. They don't need their own dedicated waves or anything, just mix them in like Marvel Legends does with the MCU and I'll be happy.

4. Zartan
This character had a major role in the films so it translates over for me that I like him in the cartoon as well. A master of disguise and make up, he is a mercenary who frequently works for Cobra Commander and would make a nice addition to any upcoming GI Joe collection seeing that he is one of the primary antagonists.

3. Baroness
Another primary character from the original cartoon who deserves a figure based upon her status alone. The movies overhauled her character but I think I prefer the original cartoon incarnation of her overall. She is vital to any set up of Cobra's forces, and I love that she wears glasses as well as to me it adds more to her overall look.

2. Storm Shadow
With Snake Eyes in the first wave supposedly, I hope it isn't long until we get his rival, Storm Shadow in the line as well. He is another ninja assassin although his outfit is all white in contrast with his rival. The design of his character is very toyetic, pushing him above a simple military themed human like most other Joe characters, and the stark white of his costume is bound to make him stick out.

1. Cobra Commander
What other character could take the number 1 spot than the main villain of the series? I am honestly shocked that this character is not in the first wave of figures, though i guess they want to spread out their big names over a few waves so they don't run out quick. He is one of the most recognizable Joe characters of all time, and his design is just begging for a 6 inch scale figure to show off the neat costume and sinister attitude.
