Top 5 most wanted Power Rangers Lightning Collection Ranger allies

Something I love about Hasbro's line of Power Rangers action figures is that not only rangers and villains are getting figures, but other allies of the rangers are getting figures too whih shows that seemingly any character is fair game for the line! With that in mind, I'm thinking about the top 5 allies of the Power Rangers that I would like to get in the Lightning Collection line! This involves characters who have been aids to the rangers during any season, primarily focusing on the major allies of the rangers who appeared in several episodes of the franchise, such as the Magna Defender who we got. So here is my most wanted figures to stand alongside my ranger figures!

5. Blue Senturion
The Blue Senturion was around a lot during the Zordon era, mostly during the Zeo episodes but he made further appearances during the In Space finale. I really enjoyed this character's presence and thought he was a lot of fun to have around, especially with the hijinks he would get into with the theme of his character being a police officer. I especially liked when the villain of the episode gave him a jacket that turned him evil, resulting in Blue Centurion wearing that jacket during the fight scenes!

4. Phantom ranger
Another ally from the Zordon era who was a primary ally during the Turbo season before making sparse appearances in In Space. He had a strong relationship with the pink ranger, Cassie, so getting them in a two pack would be awesome. I really like the look of this character's armor, and the gray and blacks mixed with the more heavy duty look is a cool combo I want Lightning Collection to tackle.

3. Alpha 5
Probably the most well known and popular character on this list has to be Alpha 5 whose iconic catchphrase, "Ay yi yi!" is quotable among fans! This robot and his successor, Alpha 6, who later adopted Alpha 5's persona were around for every show in the Zordon era and I think it is due for this character to receive a figure in the 6 inch line! Not only would it be a cool figure, being a robot, but he is a fan favorite character and Legacy Collection's planned release was cancelled along with a few other characters at the end of their line.

2. Ninjor
One of the first major allies to the Power Rangers was Ninjor from the third season of the original Mighty Morphin series. He was effectively the source of their ninja forms and I just loved his character! The goofy voice and his care free demeanor was a highlight of the character's appearance and I loved how heroic he was with each of his episodes. The bulky design would make for a very fun action figure as well, especially if he can transform like he does in the show!

1. Bulk and Skull
These are allies that I hadn't really thought about as allies to the Power Rangers until I started writing this list, then I realized that I had a new number 1. Bulk and Skull were series regulars all throughout Mighty Morphin, Zeo, and Turbo before making more scattered appearances in In Space and Lost Galaxy. I wasn't a big fan of them early on but grew to find their hi-jinks actually funny and their humor moved beyond simply throwing food in Bulk's face. They've aided the Power Rangers several times throughout their time on the show, and I would love a two pack of these figures even as a convention exclusive if that is what it takes to get them made!
